Center Caps

Post by wicked1981 »

Ok so im not sure how this happened but I went to get in my car and I noticed that the center logo on the center cap is missing. See the pics one is the original (how it supposed to look) and the other one is without the logo. All it is an excel logo with glue on the back so my question is does anyone have any ideas where I could get either new center caps or any ideas on how to fill the spot with something else? I would not mind replacing the excel logo with something else or the entice center cap. Any ideas??this is what the other 3 wheels look like

The adhesive tape come loose and it fall off perhaps? Where did you buy the rims? I bet that shop could get you a cap or have one lying around.

I got them frm Wheelmax.com and they cannot find another one they say the wheels they get are in boxes witht the sticker inside box so to get one they would have to take it from another wheel wich they wont do. I also tried a tire place here and they told me they didnt have the same size ca for the wheels I had.

Try contacting the manufacturer of the wheel...Maybe they can hook you up with them...

If you have a Dunn Tire Corp. around you. They deal with Exel wheel. If not you can order 4 new ones. I know http://www.motegiracing.com have those centers. Just don't say Exel on them. Also, If I'm not mistaken, I believe Exel, Motegi are both American Racing division. I know Motegi is. Both use the same center cap also. I looked for them online and can't seem to find them here. So if your still havin problems finding them. Let me know and I can call for pricing on these centers. They come in differnt colors also. GunMetal, Gold, Silver, Black, Red, Blue. Or you can just get the logos.. Here ya go.. Hope this helps ya out.

I know it doesn't really help you now, but when I got my ADR rims, two of the center caps were taped on and two weren't They were all in the hub, but two were just placed there...quite snug too. If I hadn't checked, I probably would have lost one of mine too. I don't understand why they were like that, but maybe you should check the other three and make sure they are all taped on.On a side note, my pontiac centercaps are the perfect size for my hub. I have been contemplating dremeling off the rear clips and sticking the Pontiac centercaps onto my ADRs. Maybe you could use a set of those?

How about just adding GrafxWerks decals to the center caps:Arrowhead Center Cap Covers (Black) - VIBA1-50 - $20.00 for 4Cover the center cap of your aftermarket wheels with this black cover to retain that OEM look. Bordered vinyl arrowhead in colors of your choice. Also in Grey Carbon Fiber (VIBA1-51), Chrome (VIBA1-52) (pictured) and Brushed Aluminum (VIBA1-53)

Well...I don't want to hijack this thread, but I am considering those. Basically, it's not worth it to me to spend any money on this little project. I mainly thought about the OEM caps because they were sitting in my garage. Still thinking about the overlays, though...Thanks for the suggestion, Nova.
