2nd new Vibe

Post by robodog61 »

I recently bought a new Vibe Satellite with 5 spd, moons and tunes and power package to replace my 92 Civic. I like the car alot and enjoy the discussions on this website. My wife liked the car also, so today we bought our second Vibe to replace a 1991 Camry Wagon - egged on by a GM supplier discount and the huge rebate. The Vibe has almost as much room as our old wagon and has better gas milage. I think you get a lot of car for the money. This new one will be Neptune with Auto, moons and tunes and power. Any one else have 2 Vibes or planning to?

I won't do any mods but will probably try to buy cargo nets and a mat. Should I get them from the dealer? Are they cheaper anywhere else? Thanks

Using the handy search feature I found the following:You can make your mat out of Carpet:http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=1366 http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=413 or foamhttp://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=1366 Haven't seen any nets for sale elsewhere but I don't get out much.

Definitely. I'm ordering the cargo net. I guess I could shop around, but I know this one will fit.

My cargo nets came with the car. On the sticker, they add $25 for the cargo net package which is 2 nets, one large one that fits all the way across the back just inside the tailgate that runs from side to side and a second small net that can be attached to either the left or right side of the cargo area that hooks onto the top 2 chrome hooks. Both nets can be used at the same time, too. Being that I got the car discounted by about $2000 by using the internet to inquire about it, I would consider the nets as thrown in at no charge in my deal.

There is a house in our neighborhood that has had two in the driveway for months. I like my wife's and am thinking of getting one when my lease is up on my TL.
