1800 users on genvibe!

Post by noginsk »

Everyday when I log on, I glance at the numbers showing how many users we have. Today, on genvibe's 2 birthday, we hit the 1800 mark.

Great to see such a number, but last night I was going through the membership list by sign up date, and it's kind of sad to see how many people dreamed up a good post name, went to the trouble of registering and then either never posted or stopped after only a handfull. Also I recognized quite a few "old reliables" who haven't been heard from in a year or more. I guess they could have all gone into "read only" mode, but it's more likely they've left us. It can't be something we said...

Some people have changed scrennames too, and since you cant delete your old ones, they just remain idle.

People will always come and go from the forum. Some may find a different one they like better. Others may get a different vehicle and lose interest. I bet a lot of people join in the anticipation of getting the car, to do research and ask some questions, and if they buy something else they just don't come back. But there is a solid core of people here, and as more Vibes hit the streets, there will be more regulars. Things will continue to improve and grow here!
