I used to fly r/c airplanes (still have them, but haven't flown in a few years) and I've seen some r/c helicopters fly, but nothing like the one in this video. It's about 14.5 megs, but if you're an r/c'er, it's worth the download. After you've downloaded it, hit alt + enter for full screen.Right click and save:http://www.softlab.ntua.gr/~si...4.wmv
WOW! my uncle flies rc planes. he's one of the premier pilots in Ohio. he can hang on the prop and just hover. then he'll touch the tail on the ground then go straight up again. it's awesome.
My RC10GT can do all that! OK, so it can really fly, but it does top out over 50+ mph! Just got it back together. It's now got a Fantom FR15 copperhead motor w/ '04 turbo port/lightened crank, ball bearing steering, carbon fiber shock towers, titanium topshaft, MIP CVD's, full bearings, and countless other go-fast goodies! I can nail the throttle at mid-RPM range and it flips over backwards...ON PAVEMENT! So ya, it's officially too fast! If you guys don't have nitro R/C of some sort, you NEED one! The things are too much fun!
WOW! that video is sweet. I also used to have a r/c truck. A Team Losi NXT graphite plus with a .15 motor (I can't remember which kind). I bought it to have a relaxing hobby and I sold it because all the tinkering and really small parts ended up driving me crazy. Although when it was running right it was a blast.
