just wondering what a good solution on what to do with it when i install my custom intake. any suggestions or know-how would be good. it's quite different from my sunfire, so i just want to get it right...

Your going to need to have it on the car up stream from the CAI and filter. If not the car will run like crap and your check engine light will come on and stay on until the MAF sensor is reinstalled. I have a custom CAI and the MAF is connected and installed about 4 or 5 inches from the TB.
