Didn't know if it was someone here that questioned what the Envy-colored Vibe looked like, but here is a real picture: http://nicksimkins.com/vibe/vibe_envy.jpg The pics on the web (as few as there are) don't do the color justice in person however. The color is different, no doubt, but I personally think its appealing due to its uniqueness.
Yeah, I have seen a couple base models with the 17's. You can also 'custom build' a Vibe (at http://www.gmbuypower.com) with them, although it is not as common to see them on a base than it would be for the GT.The GT and AWD models are still very scarce in my area.Someone else that saw that pic also mentioned it looked goldish. You really have to see it in person.... I will also get another pic with better lighting if I ever get a chance.
I actually test drove a Salsa Vibe.... if I can get a pic for you I will post it (this week). I like the Vibe's Salsa variation of "red" better than the Lava "red" (nothing against Lava owners!!).

Oh! I didn't know you also got the sunroof package.Good idea about the snow.. I'm sure you see your share of it up there. I am still thinking about whether to get the 16" or 17" wheels myself (when I order mine). I don't have to worry about alot of snow down here, but we still do get our share.Decisions.. decisions..
seb: what type of reactions from strangers/friends do you get about this color? When gathering opinions about the color with people I know, I seem to get split 50/50 of like it or don't like it.I personally like it.
The 17" wheels are only available as an option on the GT's here in Canada. In the US you can order them on the base. There are some other differences in available options too. You can get just ABS in the US on a base....Here you have to order the safety and security package which includes the side airbags.
