Where to buy a hood protector (bra)??

Post by FusionFishGuy »

Does anyone have a good recommendation for a place to purchase a vinyl hood protector that is the bra-style? I am just wanting the piece that fits on the hood and not the complete front-end cover. Please provide the URL to a recommended dealer. Thanks.

Take a look at http://www.carbras.com. This is where I got my hood deflector and I'm very happy with their quality and service.

So, you bought the entire front-end bra and just used the hood part? Is there any way to not have to pay $89 for just the one piece. That seems a little high to me.

I just ordered a bunch of stuff from:http://www.1stpontiacparts.comAlthough they dont show the part you are looking for, if you send them an email, they will let you know if they can get it. For OEM GM parts, they are the cheapest I have found. The part number you need is:12498125BobOn edit: I got the entire bra from them for 72.24 + 10% for shipping. Not too shabby from what I have seen

Hey, take a look at this website http://www.magnetbra.com/index.htmlI like this idea!! The price isn't too bad either. Go to the Vibe to look at a picture of one installed. This may be the route I take to protect my hood from road chips, which so easily seem to appear!!! You can almost spit on the paint and watch it chip off it seems.

BTW, you can just buy the hood piece from GM. That was the part number I provided. It should be 30-35 bucksBob
