My buddy just got a G-Tech Pro, so I was wondering if anyone knows how much our cars' weigh? Preferably the XRS/GT manual. IF you don't know what a G-Tech is you stick to your winshield and plug in it and you can get read outs for 0-60 times, Hp, 1/4 times, g's 60-0 braking....I think thats all his has, but I need to punch in the weight of the car for the Hp setting. thanks
Don't forget to add in your own weight(s)! Also, although a published number will get you in the ballpark, it's better to find a scale and weigh the vehicle in a known condition. (e.g. no driver/passengers, full tank of gas, no building materials in the back, etc.) In fact I've weighed vehicles for free at building material suppliers: Tell them you want about 'x' amount of sand or whatever, and many will weigh your vehicle empty then again full, to verfy how much you got.It will be good to see how your results compare to various chassis dyno numers.
i know the recycling place does this with tin cans also if you can find a livestock scale. I go to penn state and the ag barns have one that you can pretty much drive on whenever and there is a big display that tells you what your car weighs

There's a metal salvage business here that has a scale which weighs you before and then after you unload the metal on your trailer. If there's one around, you could have them weigh your car with you in it.Different options on the car, amount of fuel, etc can change the weight of the Vibe a couple hundred lbs. Depends on how exact you want to be with the weight guess.
Wow! Thats really light for a ... I wont use the "V" word....
