Pics Added 3/15: MOMO Door Sills & Custom Racing Pedals

Post by Psychobroker »

Over the weekend I installed MOMO door sills x 4 and a set of custom "Vibe" billet aluminum racing pedals including dead pedal. Both came out wonderfully, if I do say so myself . I had to trim down a long set of sills for the rear, but it worked nicely. The pedals are AWESOME and fully functional/ergonomic. Much better than the generic CF pedal covers I had on there before direct link to cardomain page: http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/522631/6I also took the time to install my silverstar turn signals, EuroDesignz blue Xenon 9006 fogs, and APC SuperWhite back-up lamps I'll add more pics of those tonight or tomorrow. Please let me know what you think!

Those pedals look sweet!!!Are those the ones being sold on Ebay? I was very tempted to get a set, just wasn't quite sure. After seing them on your car, I want a set! How hard was it to install the dead pedal?

The sills and pedals look great. As for the Eurodesign fogs I had a set of high beams on my Sierra for about 3 days and they were awful. It looked like you were driving through a milky blue haze at night. They gave far poorer illumination than my stock lights which I quickly put back on.

These are the pedals from eBay, here's a link to the auction, however, he's since removed the pic of the Vibe set, and hasn't listed any future auctions. I hope I didn't get the last set! As for installation, the dead pedal was the easiest...just used self-tapping screws. No need for a center punch. The clutch was also easy enough as the pedals line up perfectly with the stock mounting holes. However, the brake was a PAIN IN THE (removed). Only because my stupid a$$ kept trying to use masonry/wood drill bits instead of carbide/titanium - which the seller CLEARLY advises to use - to drill through the stock pedal (no mounting holes on the brake pedal - thx GM! ) and snapped 3 (lol). Once I found a carbide bit, drilling went fine. I do highly recommend using a center punch and/or nail/hammer to help keep the drill bit from skating. The gas was also very easy to drill/mount. The only problem besides the brake pedal, was that the kit was short a couple of countersink screws/nuts. No problem, as I can pick those up at Lowe's/Home Depot, or I'll email the seller and ask him to mail me two PS The EuroDesignz fogs seem fine to me, and are exactly what I wanted - a blueish tint - not overly blue, nor plain white. I wouldn't use them for my headlights, though.

Looks great Psychobroker! I love my Momo sills and pedals. I have the blue grip pedals from Momo. The only part that I had to customize was the dead pedal cover. I had to cut it to fit, but it turned out really good. The attached pic was about the best one I currently have of my pedals.
