i found out from someone at http://www.ptuning.com soon DC Sports will be making cermanic headers for the Matrix XRS and Vibe GT. i went to their website and found the XRS part #, but it is too be annoucnedhttp://www.dcsports.com/home.html

I was planning to buy these, as I signed up for the email notification a couple months ago. However, I've heard the stock GT header is pretty well fabricated, that even TRD's $800 header didn't show more than 2hp gain...and in some case...a 2hp LOSS ((removed)?).I think I'm just going to pull my stock one and get it ported/polished and save the $400-$600 for either a Unichip OR the eventual turbo kit.

I have never heard about any big power gains with a header, unless you have a turbo then they help on a smaller engine. the few things that i have read is that you lose power, especially down low...I agree with Psychobroker, get a port and polish, save yourself some money and put it where you will get the most performance for the dollar
