It's not very big...only 350w RMS / 700 peak (bridged mode), but it's an animal for its size. I chose fosgate's Power series because of the line and power pass throughs.

that's a nice slim profile there! my kicker ported box takes up so much space! wish i could get it a little smaller or replace it eventually... maybe with a custom box that doesn't eat up 25% of my cargo area!

Oh, lol The cap is there to allow me to expand my system in the future and not have to re-wire things.

A half-farad is good up through 500w I believe. I have a 1 farad Lightning Audio I got for $70 online somewhere... I still have dim, but I turn mine up loud.. My next step is actually to swap out the battery with an Optima..

very nice, i just purchased a rockford for my system as well, i picked up the 2002 model X6, claims 850rms, but is known to push upwards of 1000rms. Im building a cheezy box right now to hold me over untill im done with my fiberglass. Im running my 0/1 gauge wire today, and im waiting on my audiobahn 3 farad cap to come in.

Yeah, that's why I chose this particular setup. It's the most compact I could get w/o going 100% custom.

the cargo cover sucks when you some thump, it makes noise, i rely on the tint as well.does that carpet keep the sub stationary enough? i had to tie my subs down w/nylon rope because of all the sliding around. it made big gouges in the back of the seat. id like to use a cleaner-looking method of immobilizing my box

The sub came with mouting plates, so I just drilled through the trunk lid, the carpet and bolted it down. No sliding whatsoever

Good day!I'm awaiting shipment of my Polk-Momo MM12 it's the 12" version. Do you get any sound vibrations or other problems with just screwing into the back like that? I'm trying to figure out a way in which I can easily remove it, any suggestions from anyone? I wouldn't want to constantly be removing screws then screwing them in again. Can't wait! I'm getting my HU, amp, and sub in a couple of days, first stereo installation! There's nothing like spending a nice day with the Vibe. Thanks! ---Daniel

Hey there Daniel,There's ZERO rattle/vibration from my MM10, but that could be that I'm only using a 350w(RMS) amp to push it. If I upgrade to 500w, it may cause other panels to rattle, or the spare tire cover. If I do this, I'll dynamat the trunk area.As for mounting, I never remove the box, so I don't know what to tell you about ease of removal. I mounted it where it is to still allow me to fold the pass side back seat flat for extra-long cargo.
