No, I don't think there is so much Vibe in that... It's purely Toyota...

A little less DOOR PANEL would be nice. Jeez...this is why I don't like the Aerio (I think that's it..) The car is huge compared to the wheels. It just looks...off balance. Same with this thing...And yeah, the pimple...ew. I'd get it to glow red, call the car "Rudolph"

The proportion of car to wheel size is the same on both cars. I often think about how small the wheels are in comparision to the size of my Vibe.

And trust me, every time I look at it, even with the 17"s on it, I think "Man...those wheels are too small!"What I was mostly referring to was the size of the doorpanel to the window.. I'd swear there's at least another two inches of vertical window size on the Vibe compared to this thing. But that's just me..

Only thing I see is the "C" pillar is sorta the same shape as the Vibe.

There are quite a few differences that I see though. I disagree that the rear door window is the same dimention as the current Vibe/Matrix. I think that back by the rear door's handle the body panel tapers upward and scrunches the look of the rear window a bit.The rear hatch is definately different from the Vibe's. It's more squared off, much like the Element's hatch. It doesn't have the same angle as the Vibe. Also, the roofline stays higher to meet the squared off hatch at the back. The side mirrors are different. The Verso has a side marker light on the front fenders (a la VW/Audi).Like the Matrix, the Verso has no side moulding about half way up the doors like the Vibe does. I think that moulding breaks up the larger surface of the doors visually and makes the Vibe look a bit less "bulky" on the sides.Verso/Matrix also have that crease that runs straight and the full length of the sides of the car. With it being so high up on the door, the bottom part of the door looks big and flat, making it seem bulkier also. Some little tweaks with styling cues here and there would clean this right up.On the sides, the front and rear fascia (where the bumpers wrap around the car) are taller on the Verso, also adding to the bulky look. Now that I look closer, the rear window of the Verso is also longer than the Vibe/Matrix. It seems that the Verso has borrowed Chrysler's "cab forward" design a bit, as the "A" pillar has been moved forward, the windshield raked back a bit more, and since the cabin has been extended forward a bit, the doors were made wider. The Verso's rear sail panel window has also been chopped a bit to make the rear door window longer. These cues lead me to think that Toyota has added a bit more legroom in the rear seats. The cabin was moved forward a bit, but the rear seat has stayed farther back, stretching the legroom in the back it seems. I wonder if the Verso will have the same fold-flat rear seats that the Vibe/Matrix have. If it does, it should have more cargo room with the seats folded down than the Vibe/Matrix.For all the things they changed, they still kept that stupid looking "RC car" antenna. Why can't they get rid of that thing? I notice that in that pic of the Vibe, it is missing. GM making the car look a little better for the photo shoot? And yes, I too hate the look of the Verso's front styling. Unfortunately, this looks like the styling theme that Toyota has chosen to go with now on several of their newly redesigned cars. I think it looks bad.*EDIT* I just noticed also that the Verso has what look to be washer fluid nozzles on the front bumper that pop out when the washers are activated to spray the headlights like on German luxury cars.
