i got an email to be a beta tester for it, but i decided not to.i don't think that will get off stubborn dirt, tar, bugs, etc. despite the claims. unless it's a power wash system. and if that's the case, it may not be wise anyway.that being said, i won't be buying one.
YES!I still visit GenVibe periodically. I have not forgotten about my "original" family over here!
I think that the no spots claim will only be valid within a certain temperature range. If the car's surface is too hot (especially when in the sun) you are going to get spots no matter what unless you keep misting the surface to keep it cool and wet until you can dry it like you normally would. Also, some places have very hard water and may leave spots when using this product anyway. I've never used it, but these are my best guesses based on experience with other products.

I watched a demo at the Toronto International Auto Show on Wednesday: They have some special polymer soap, but the main trick is a filter that removes all minerals and other contaminants from the rinse water. Since pure water evaporates with no residue, this leaves the vehicle spot free without the use of a chamois. A filter pack is good for about 8 washes depending on your water hardness and the cost of a replacement is ~$8. As far as bugs, etc., I don't think there's any magic.
I use a filter called the revolutionizer. Do a search for it using words like spot free, deionizer, revolutionizer, dry, etc... It really does work for about 7-8 washes but it is expensive to replace. About $30 US to order online. Wash your car like you normally do (keep misting it to stop premature drying) and when the wash is done, hook the revolutionizer up to the garden hose and spray it down from top to bottom. Follow the top to bottom direction carefully as to flush the 'contaminated' water down the car. Over the years I've bought about 5 of theses filters and they have always done exactly what they claim which is to dry spot-free.
I just went to the site and it seems to be very similiar to the revolutionizer. I watched the 120 second commercial and they show the insertion of a filter to filter out contaminants and minerals. I live in a area where dust can sometimes be excessive and even with the filter, the vibe dried with dusty spots which settled on the car before it dried. Oh well......
