Has anyone tried these electric superchargers?

I see these on eBay all the time. I'm not sure if it would be worth it or not. It seems like a good idea, but does it create more power than it uses to run?ebay auction

It would help but not add as much as 20Hp...It will give you more power, but this thing take lot of current to run and add load on hte alternator, which reduce its performance.So this add 20hp but the alternator takes 18 more hp to run, so you gain 2hp...Ok I'm kidding with the 18hp to run the alternator but you will not get a big gain with this. You will get almost equal hp only with the less restrictive air filter, and the blower only add a little...

Where can I get a bilge pump like this? Should I buy a bilge pump and try it? Maybe a leaf blower would be more efficient since I do have an AC outlet.

sorry I meant a bilge blower! it's just a small propellor style fan, 12volts. about 3" around.
