I was looking for a place to install my new CAI and today was so a beautifull day, that I choose to install it outside, in my parking lot.It took me a little less the 1 hour and half to complete the job. The hardest thing was to figure how to place this cai in place.... At one time I was so confused that I thought the guy gave me the GT model. But after trying and saying some bad words, I finally foud how to put it in place.Unfortunatly, I broke one of the tighter for the rubber neck... My cordless drill is just too pawerfull. So I had to buy another one.Now I'm sure I can install another one in around 1 hour, may be less. And I by upgrade for the Cosmo CAI. They decided to add the 2 screw to hold in place the MAF sensor. The CAI makes a good difference in performance. The engine is more prime and it sounds so good now.

No, I haven't drilled any holes anywhere ot intall it. I only used my drill to put/remove/tight the screw (I'm little lazy). I've read on Matrixvibe.net some people with Cosmo CAI complaning about the CAI didn't come with the screw to put the MAFS and the stock one didn't fit. So mine came with the 2 screw.Quote, originally posted by silverawd26 »Glad you like the noise and performance, you will really notice a difference above 4000 RPM's, atleast I did. I haven't tested it very well yet. I only ran few miles with it, when I went to Home Depot and buy the part I broke. So the CAI was onding to the engine air intake only by pression, so I took it easy....Tomorrow I will test drive it more. But up to now, I'm very happy and it worth the investment. And I ahven't had any cell light on (touch on wood)
Nice job Ben! I guess you didn't need my friends place to do it.Hope you post some pics and have fun driving!! PS You are right it was just beautiful today

Employ your time in improving yourself by other men's writings, so that you shall gain easily what others have labored hard for.
Have you noticed any differences yet? Like HP gains? You put a CAI on a base Vibe, same as what I want to do on mine but I am doing some research first. Any information you got would be great.

I bought a K&N filter maintenance and cleaner and I charged my filter myself with oil.Quote »Are there differences in the matrix, and vibe intakes by cosmo(IE clearance of the fogs)? But once you have the trick, it is not hard to remove andput it back.Quote »Have you noticed any differences yet? Like HP gains?
