Is it this weekend that the toyota guys meet at Kennedy commons and does anyone want to go with me if it is??I also thought that it would be a good chance to start talking about what we are going to do for our fund raiser this summer.

Let us know if you find out, I might be able to show... but I have no connections to MADD or anything to set up a fund raiser.

the big one will be planned starting in april.Mavrik, are you in for Saturday???Kennedy Commons is right off the 401 so it is easy to find.

I think that we will try for a meet about the same time as last year, end of July. It worked out pretty well. Unless something happens with the MADD thing which I doubt considering the responses have stopped.Kennedy Commons is at Kennedy Road with would be in the east end of Toronto. Not far east of yonge Street. From what I have seen, it is a pretty good turn out (of course way better in the summer). but there will be some interesting cars there and most of the people who attend are really into their cars and can answer alot of questions and are a lot of fun to talk to.

I may just have to make it out for that, vibes, matrix and other cars on display? Sounds like a lot of fun and educational. How long does the meet last there at the commons?MADD not following through? just a regular meet then for summer?

Bring some other Vibe owners to eh? But for now I'm thinking of going to the commons this saturday night and check things out. Any other ontario members thinking of going other then Trocar? Matrix directions were posted. Every last Saturday of the month at 8:00PM. Kennedy Commons (Hwy 401 and Kennedy Road) Directions: take Hwy 401 and exit off Kennedy and go straight(south) off the hwy into Kennedy Commons. The Tim Hortons is hidden behind Rona. look at left side of the road

Well I am the connection for MADD and I have already spoken to several people involved in MADD they have a couple other members who are interested in creating a car rally and want to join us in the planning. I'm meeting them tonight for a MADD dinner and will probably be discussing this at that time as soon as I have some info I'll post it would like to incorporate a car rally into the Annual Oshawa meetT

That would be great idea. I still have a couple of contacts within the Toronto Civics Club, which would allow us to have their presence as well....maybe even Club Si, BMW club....we can make this bigger than the C7 cruise.

When is the annual oshawa meet? More then just Vibes there? I would love to go, just don't know about me going to Kennedy tonight, its a 2 hour drive at least for me and that would make a late drive home afterwards...

Thats kinda an odd day to have a meet, I mean its not a holiday or anything. I could make it to the meet after work if it was still going on... otherwise... doubtful.

The meet was on the 23rd last year. So Mavrik you are already late. I think that the meet should be around the same time again this year. Only concern is that it was the same weekend as the annual AUTOFEST which is a huge car show her in Oshawa. However, I don't feel that hte autofest hindered our meet in any way other than we had a change on venue close to the date. Round up are you out there to help get teh parking lot agian this year???????If we plan this right, then people could come for the whole weekend and do the meet on the saturday and the Autofest events on the sunday. It would be a great weekend. Anyone want to commit to planning this???If we get the ball rolling now then we have tons of time to get it ready.

I think that we should really incorporate a car rally into the meet and end with a huge bbq I was reading up on car rally's and they sound like it will be really fun and an adventurous day.. especially if we end it out with a BBQ Trocar Roundup Madbill if you guess could help me out with this it would be wonderful (the reason I suggest you guys, we are the ones that know the area rather well and could really get a challanging course made up ) well guys what do you think? T
