Factory speakers<subwoofer

The wires that connect to the rear speakerssilly ?is the redwire the positive one or the white?.I'm planning on putting a preampsub tube in the back of the car i have two green wires coming out ofthe sub tube they say you must connect these two green wires to thepositive sides of both rear speakersdoes this sound right???????? i need your advise i understand thatthe sub only needs a signal.

I forget, actually... I think the Red was the positive. With the sub, it shouldn't be too much of a problem. The biggest issue is whether or not it's in phase with the rest of the car. Try it with Red being positive, and power up the system. I don't think you'll have a problem..
