I have heard a mixture of opinions on this brand, some say they are a generic junk brand, others will swear by them and say they are good. Well I liked the price and the appearance so I broke down and bought 4 new ICON rims. 17"x7 5x100. They look just like the ones in the pic there without ICON in white on the side I'll be putting them on my car once I get rubber for them and the weather gets better. Then I'll show you all what they look like on my fusion Vibe. I held one up to the car earlier.... damn $177 a piece while a US website (tire treads) has them for over $220Well now that I have rims, anyone know a good reasonably priced tire with good dry wet handling?

Really? *looks at pic* damn we got some good tastes heheh. Think she'll show at the MI meet? I'll have mine on by then I see she has really low pro tires, I was leaning towards P215/50R17 tires.

As for tires, I would recommend the Nitto 555s. I can't say I have much experience with other brands, but I am very pleased with these. They cut through puddles very well, plus I autocross and they handle great then also. They only cost about 125 a piece for the size I have. I autocrossed many times this summer and they dont show hardly any tire wear, so I am pleased.
I bought them at Unauthorized Performance at 1630 Dundas st E. Its a very small shop, easy to miss if your not paying attention. Look for a Mr Sub, its in the same little parking lot.But yup, $177 a rim and I am getting 4 from their warehouse on tuesday. I paid $814.20 including tax. Another $10 for shipping when I pick them up.Man it takes forever to load a reply window...

Afte about 20,000 miles you'll be looking for new ones.
Mav,I also have a fusion orange and like the idea of the gun metal rims. I don't want to steal your idea but.... Seriously, even though I have the 16" alloy I was thinking if I upgrade it would be chrome but now I can't wait to see your pics!
Well you won't be stealing the idea from me, fellow members here suggested I go gunmetal when I asked what looked better. Just don't take my style lol... well you can if you really want to. But in my opinion now, I believe gunmetal does the best for the fusion colour. Chrome looks good but Gunmetal looks TOUGH!I'll have pics once I get the rubber and put the tires on. Of course with the lovely cold we are having this time of year, I'll probably put them on in the shop just for a pic or two.

No offense, but those look like Enkei DM5 imitations in a darker finish..EDIT: On second thought, there are enough differences to make them just very similar. Very nice looking either way
Icon's were cheaper lol. But those do look simular. Ah well, who cares cause they look good on my car... well will look better once I put them on for a few months.
