Octane booster is a something that just helps prevent detonation. In other words, it makes the fuel harder to ignite.Also, when it says it raises the octane 4 points it doesn't mean 4 but 0.4 That means 89 octane becomes 89.4 octane (not 93).Bottom line, octane booster is just a waste of money (in my opinion).
