Oh boy, they really changed that around didn't they? My wife drives an '02 Montana and I don't like I like this new one very much so I guess we will be holding onto it for a while. Luckily we put low miles on it. This new one looks too pasted together. Maybe it will grow on me, who knows.

Ok, I went to the GMI site and looked at all the pictures and I am really disapointed. I thought this was going to be a complete redo of the platform. On second glance this is just another 'refresh' of sorts. No wonder the thing looks peiced together, it is. The took the existing Montana and grafted on a new hood and messed around the the rear windows, putting a painted area around them. Otherwise it is the same. Same front and back doors, same rear hatch, just a bunch of cut and pasted sheetmetal. What is up with that roof rack thing, it looks like they stole it from a Nissan SUV. I realize that minivan's aren't all that stylish now, but I really like mine. If I wanted something that looked like an SUV, I would buy an SUV. Now you have a minivan that looks like someone chopped the front off a Trailblazer and glued it on the front of a 97-04 Minivan. What a disapointment.

Yes...please.... keep those opinions coming! I love it!!!! It will keep the prices of my minivans nice and low compared to those overpriced "cross-overs". I'll be the decenting opinion and say, I like the new look.Has anybody tried to load three kids into a SUV? The one in the middle will always kill your back. With a minivan, there's lots-o-room for you to get in there with them because of the sliding doors (especially in tight parking lots when a soccer-mom with her F-350 Super-Dooper Double Cab pick-up parks next to you).
I have to say too that I would rather have a minivan over an SUV anytime with kids. They are so much easier to use and get in and out. Also I would much rather have the sliding doors in the garage as opposed to those big back doors that SUVs have, so the kids can't accidentally open the door into the vibe parked next to it. Minivans are not for everyone, this is true, but I have no problem with my minivan looking like a minivan. As I mentioned before if I had wanted an SUV, I would have bought one. I really wouldn't have too much of an issue with the new Montana and other GM minivans looking more "SUVish" if they didn't look so peiced together. If it had cleaner lines, etc. I still think that front end literally looks like it was pasted onto the body of the existing minivans.

Is the Relay going to be the first Saturn without the composite body panels? I always thought that was one of Saturn's biggest selling points was the dent resistant body panels.

Because of Saturn's poor sales, I've heard that GM is just going to start treating them like Chevy, Buick, etc. Maybe keep the "customer friendly" aspect, but give them products that are all derived from the same platforms as the other divisions.
I can not beleive how ugly these things are. Thank goodness that I will never have to have my name show up on the ownership of anything tthat looks like these. Vibe is as close as I ever want to be.
I was reading Pontiac's website, they have a whole lot of new information on the new SV6. The look is growing on me, a little. However according to the website, the Montana will no longer have fog lights because the SV6 doesn't need them. The 'new' lights are so 'bright' that fog lights are no longer needed. Sounds like advertising speak for "we didn't want to pay to put fog lights in the front fascia."
