Searching is useless if you can't search for a two letter word...aaarrgghghbut I digress.... I was wondering. What would be the main difference between a 17" and a 18" tire? Obviously size but how does performance change if everything is the same?Desi

The main difference is that the 18s will be alot stiffer. You will feel the road alot more and they will be louder. Also, the rim will be less protected from potholes/speedbumps.I don't think that there will be an appreciable perfromance difference. What it really comes down to is looks. How much ride quality are you willing to sacrifice for the looks of the 18s?
I went from stock 16in steelies to 18 in. Tenzo's with Kumho Ecsta's, and they made a huge difference in the traction and handling department for me. The ride feels very fine to me. They look beautiful too.look. sorry the pic sucks, but i just took a few pics of the sides of my car from narrow angles, and filmed my exhaust to get some sound clips and such, tried posting it but it is 5,000,000 bytes, dont know how to shirnk it down or anything.
