Stock radio removal?

Post by ebslopp »

I'm sure this has already been posted, but I couldn't find it. Can somebody please tell me how to get the stock radio out? If you have pics of the process, that would be helpful.

1- remove the grey platci around the HU.To do it, pull the bottom of it, the pull the top.2- Unclip the wiring harness (3) and the recycle cable.Be carefull with this one, you can brake the pins easily.3- Remove the 4 10mm bolts and the HU is yours.

I posted a couple shots on how to remove the bezel w/o breaking the clips that may help you on this post: (scroll down a bit)http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=769The pic here shows the 4 bolts that need to be removed. A 1/4" drive with a long extension helps for the two lower bolts. I "pointed" to the bolts in red in this pic.
