paint that would match the interior pillars

Post by gogoputter »

I recently installed two Boston tweeters on the pillars of my vibe gtthe tweeters are black and the pillar looks like it is a blend of beige and tan and cream etc. Anyone know how to get a color match so thatI might paint the body of these tweeters to match the color of the pillars. Thanks !!!

On mine the pillars seem to be more gray than beige/cream/tan. If I was going to try to match the paint, I would probably take one of the plastic pieces off the pillar and carry that into a store to try to match the color. The little clips that hold the vsor in place come out with a quarter turn, easy to remove, but on mine the color of those clips is just a little bit off from the color of the pillar, so although that would be an easy piece to take in for a color match, it doesn't seem to be an exact match. Are there any other interior plastic pieces that better match the pillar color but are smaller or easier to remove?I have the moon& tunes, which came with a set of tweeters just inside where the side mirrors are, and they are painted black. Do you have any pics of your tweeter install?
