I'm pretty pumped up about the new Nextel Cup, and was just taking a poll about your favorite driver.

JR came in 2nd in the Bud Shootout!!! Dale Jarrett won, but Dale was a close second.

It's nice to see some racing again. The shootout was pretty good last night. I know NASCAR has changed some stuff on the restrictor plate races (less restrictive plates), and aero rules, but I'm not a fan of restrictor plate races. Can't wait till next Sunday though.

I'm curious to see how the lowered rear spoiler height and the softer tires play out at daytona. Gonna be some strats going on as far as 2-4 tire stops. The fords look really strong too which is a first for a long time.

I guess NASCAR needs to keep the cars pretty much equal aero-wise, but yes they all look similar. Good thing different sponsors have different graphics/colors.
