I've got that same cover on mine, even now.Cons:It does leave a mark across the hood when you take it off. Wash it a few times and it goes away.If you do a lot of highway driving (try 700 miles on I-95), it picks up all kinds of dirt and particles that tend to accumulate behind the grill mesh. The back side of it (against the car), does tend to get dirty in spots as well, so when you take it off, clean it.Pros!Less chips! A LOT less chips! It doesn't look stupid, like some bras, and actually accentuates the look of the car.. (I have a Lava 2003, and it doesn't look half bad..)It protects the car really well. I ran without it for a total of three months, and the front end looked horrible. In the end, yes, I believe it's a good investment!

And yes the reason I am getting one is I have so many chips....I tried the touch up paint and It works ok but I hope the hood cover works...Thanks
