Dash lights

Has anyone tried to change the color of the Dash lights. I like the color of the GTI dash...

Some people I have read have taken them off and seen the LED's (red) are soldered into the cluster, making it even more difficult. Plus, as far as I have seen, the LEDs are non-typical compared to other LED-type gauges.Another option would be to change the gauge overlays to a lighter color which would help a little, but the tinted gauge plastic still counters that effect... as well as the red LEDs.See more: http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=1079I haven't really looked too much in the gauge cluster area, other than fixing the infamous gauge squeak, so there may be some type of replacement part(s) that can let you replace certain parts easily rather than doing any solder work.
