I did a search on Upromise and couldn't find anything. The deal is that you get $150 in Upromise account for buying a GM product. This is on top of MOST other offers. You have to register within six months from delivery date. The catch is you have to be a member for at least 30 days before taking a delivery of Vibe. However, registration is free. If you or a family member residing at your address have account already and purchased GM within last six months, it is free money. Also, if you are thinking about buying a GM, make sure you sign up for the account at least 30 days prior to taking a delivery.http://www.upromise.com/origin/gm.htm

I just tried to register for this tonight (just bought the Vibe today), but you can't get the 150 if you use the GM Supplier discount (which I did) Oh well. 150.00 when my son starts college in 11 years will probably only buy a ruler or something anyway... LOL!

I bought in 1st Qtr 2003 (Jan.) and only got $150. NEVER heard of any $450 offer. Did you personally get $450 or just passing on a rumor?

Earlier this year, they were running a "triple" special. I missed it.I have been trying since August to get my $150 credit. GM keeps denying it but wont give a reason. I think the dealer did something funny to get me the deal.
Update on my $150 contribution: they turned me down. I was told that since my dealer used a program designed for GM employees when I bought my car, that my purchase is not eligible.Oh, well...
