AOL 9.0

Post by msmyer »

I recently switched from 8.0 to 9.0 and am having a problem. I can not get any sound from AOL media player, IM's, sign offs/ons, or anything else on AOL. I can't seem to find a control panel for anything other than IM's and that is turned on. Any ideas? Thanks in advance....

Did you try running the computer check up? It checks your computer and if it finds problems and fixes them. I hate AOL but I have it because my other half's family has AOL so im stuck with it. Now that we are in this subject whats a good IPS company to use?

The basic windows may not be as pretty, but the chances of it working are much better. As far as the original post question:AOL is notorious for putting out buggy software - give AOL a call and drill them for an update. One probably exists, they won't want to admit it though.

To make an attempt at actually helping, is AOL the only thing that doesn't make sound? Does the computer still make its sounds when you startup or shutdown?
