Counter Strike is a popular video game were you can team up with your friends against your friends in a terrorist vs the good guys. Lan parties usually gather about 20+ computers all linked together. My nickname was always Bullseye cause I was always the first to die... everyone shot me heh. There are lots of computer rooms like that in the Toronto area for people to play Counter Strike, Diablo, DOOM, Quake and all those games.That was pretty funny! heh

I go to 3-4 lans a month in the Baltimore D.C area. It's a good way to earn some spare cash from time to time. There are Various programs out there that allow you to aim better see through walls or make a persons head box bigger. If you are running one of these programs at a lan it gets ugly. I play a lot of DOD Cs and Battlefield 1942, all of these games have hacks that are written for them.
