I have the 200 Watt amp with 6 disc in-dash changer. I experimented with the stock speakers today by adjusting the fade control to direct all sound to rear speakers and then only to the front speakers.......the rear ones sound like crap! Has anyone else noticed this?
Yes I did and noticed the same thing. My right rear speaker sounds raspy and I think I might of damaged it with my loud volume that I listen to . So yes better speakers or on the horizon. Vibe
The rear speakers in the vibe are only 5", but when you pull out the whole plastic bit that holds the speakers, you can fit 6.5" (6.5" oversized might work better). ANYTHING is better than the stock speakers, even for the Moon and Tunes. Mind you, if you like them, then great! Heh..but..they're still paper..and they'll still disintegrate. I have a pair of pioneers I pulled out of my back doors that I can probably send to someone.. $25 over paypal and they're yours!
