This is probably something that GM isn't going to advertise, but there is a service bulletin on the undersized battery in the 2003 Vibe. I don't know if the 2004 has the same battery or not. If you live in a warmer climate you will probably not notice the problem as much as us people in the cold country.Since I have had our Vibe I have noticed that it seemed to crank over slow even in warm weather. I finally decided to call my service manager last Thursday. he told me that I must be physic. He had just got out of a service meeting where they had discussed that very subject.I took the car in Friday and they replaced the battery. They said they went from a 325 CCA battery to either a 525 or 550 CCA battery, I don't remember which.
Welcome to GenVibe!!If you can give us the TSB number, it will help us a lot.And I will be the first one to be at my dealer's door to claim a new battery
I called the dealer this afternoon and talked to the assistant service manager and asked him for the TSB number. He said he couldn't find it and that sometimes all they get is a voice mail from GM.

At least it is out there, and seems to depend on the dealer to access and share this information.
Did anyone ever find a TSB on this. I'm purchasing a new Vibe and would like to get this corrected at time of purchase if it's out - my dealer hadn't heard anything yet.
