i found a link which and they tested them out on a dino to see where it would add the most hp. 1- bat. to body 2-bat. to trans. 3-trans. to manifold(is below trhotle body ''12m screw'') 4-mani. to one of the bolt of the fuel rail 5-fuel rail to body(the other side of tower)p.s. tell me if it works!
My Car, with the kit on. it looks awesome! come and check it out, tell me what u think.P.S. the gray will be painted momentarily http://www.cardomain.com/ride/514882/1

Hiya...Ya know, I never found the bolt near the Throttle Body... I felt so stupid. All the pictures I saw showed the bolt clearly behind the throttle body but that area in mine was covered with wires and hoses. No bolt under it so I attached to a a bolt on the exhaust manifold then to the place where you have to add your own 10mm bolt. I can't believe my connection is all that bad.I didn't notice anything in terms of starting the engine, less power drain, or taking off in first gear but it does seem to have a bit more go in 2nd and 3rd. I still think that's a placebo effect though. Actually, if I'm going down my alley in 1st then go into 2nd gear without pressing the gas, it throws me back in the seat a bit. I just don't know how a better ground would make that happen. For me, it was cheap cuz I made my own wires.... and it was kinda interesting to do. BubbaBlueyz, I hope it's a good experience for you. and be sure to let us know what, if anything, you notice in terms of improvements!Dave

ugh, no... it's not stickers, it's caliper paint... Well, actually if you use yellow caliper paint and have 2 or more stickers, the gain is 33% more than if using red caliper paint and 3 stickers.but I digress... My reason for installing ground wires was to improve the contact points in hopes to help prevent a noticable power drain (lights dimming while lowering power windows). I did read that it should help though I didn't notice a diff. Another thing I read was that it might not actually increase HP but it might help prevent some loss from an electrical device. Maybe slightly better spark or less power draw from the AC... I dunno. I just decided to do this for myself because it was something to do really. I think anything I've noticed has been less because of the wires and more because of a combination of the other little things I've done. I did mention a placebo effect. That's probably what's happening to most mods we di anyway... but if it makes us think it's improving something, why not do it, especially if it's not harming anything.Dave

I havent had a chance on installing my wires yet. I just had my wisdom teeth pulled. It sucks! But as soon as I get them installed i will let you know! I also bought a module from next level thats suppose to add 13-20 hp. I will also let yoou know about that! You can bid on both the wires and the module on ebay! just look up Pontiac vibe. It gives you everything!

Hey guys I just installed my round wires. I noticed a diffence in the electrical power, the head lights not dimming with a system. But no real big horse power diff! I dont know of any dyno places to check it around my place. But. If I found a place I will put them up!

hate to (removed) on the parade, but i find it hard to believe the hp claims. it is a good mod to keep your elec. system healthy, i would imagine

Hi drunken,I don't think you're pissin on anyone's parade in this thread at least. I think the ultimate goal was just to see what, if anything was noticable interms of the electrical system. eh, I had hopes that maybe there would be some noticable improvement in performance but as I had stated, I think what I experienced is more the effect of the other changes, i.e.: drop in filter and so on. Might notice less power drain when turning something electrical on, like the windows or AC but it's slight at best...For me it was $20, not a lot of money really... OK, maybe 1 tank-full but I don't think it's gonna cause me to be straded anywahere cuz I needed that extra $20. Even if it only adds a different look in the engine-bay, it's still not that much money. If someone notices something of an improvement then good for them. Costs the same (to make em yourself) as a decent set of overlays or Caliper paint.... costs much less than the spoilers and we know the mid-spoiler does absolutely nothing. It's relatively inexpensive.... adds a different look in the enigine bay and might actually help prevent electrical power drain... and on such a small battery, that can't be such a bad thing.Dave

Sorry guys, but it's not the stickers, either. (Putting on professor's smoking jacket with leather patches on the elbows, and getting out the pipe...)The increased power & torque is caused by the driver inhaling the vapors from the INK and/or ADHESIVE used on the stickers. There is an exponential effect of additional hp generated by additional stickers, until the whole exterior surface of the car is covered. At that point, the air drag generated by the stickers negates the additional horsepower, in direct relation to the square of the speed and the volume of the radio, multiplied by the amount of spare change in the coinholder.BTW: Aftermarket LED and neon lights increase the cornering power by the cube root of the selling price, divided by the shipping cost, and multiplied by your zipcode/postalcode. Obviously this effect is greater for those on the west coast (9xxxx zip codes), than the east coast (1xxxx zip codes), all of which goes a long way to explains the popularity of tuner cars in California!Tomorrow, I'll describe in detail the torque gained from inhaling RainX fumes while treating exterior glass surfaces...Class dismissed!

also that 25% is multiplied by how many levels it is.. 2 level wing = 50% increase, 3 level wing is 75%.
