exel wheels

Post by Devlop »

Anybody have any comments or input on this company? I'm thinking of getting a set by this company, but don't know too much about them. THanks.

I have a 4 excel wheels at home still in the box. Bought them for my previous car Chrysler Sebring but wheelmax.com sent me wrong bolt pattern after sending them back twice I just decided to keep them. They fit the Vibe but havent had the money to purchase tires. They are 17's and they are really nice looking thats about all I know about excel.

Thanks for the info, I'm actually considering the daytonas which look very similar to those. I've looked around the net and read only good things about exel, although a couple of people have complained about the weight. I'm just weighing my options. No pun intended.

Thanks. Well I wasnt sure If I should put those on the Vibe or buy some Chrome ones.. Not sure yet I like the sporty look but chrome is also nice. I ordered the Borla exhaust and next week I get window tint so low on cash for tires or wheels right now.

My own opinion don't put chrome, its not a hoopty or a bling -bling getto ride, stay sporty/import tuner, (not rice)but it is own car, to each his own.

Check out this thread: http://forums.genvibe.com/zero...82519 . I came very close to purchasing some Exels from wheelmax.com but decided not to. I just could not find much info on Exels. They seem like a brand X that tries to copy off other brands designs.Later,

I bought them last year I think they were like $500. Not bad I guess but just bought the rims no tires.

I want the daytonas as well with the gm finish. If you call wm.com they will give you a better deal than what is on the web. I talked them down to 799 shipped for 18'w with tires!!!!!!!!! Noiw to just find 799@$%&. I had to use it for something else.

Wow, thanks for the link. Makes me wonder. I've been seraching on the internet and have found other forums that talked about exel and they have had no problems with the wheels. Some have had them for over a year, but I do agree about them being kinda sketchy, especially with the lame website. I think I might just keep looking.
