I was looking at one of the boards for Subaru wrx and was surprised to see what a problamatic car it is. Transmission problems and other things. SOA does not work with people and warrenty problems. I was thinking of buying one some day but after checking the board out- no way! I don't have time or patience to mess with dealers on car problems. It really makes you apreciate the quality of the Vibe/Matrix.

it seems so funny that they do that. i have a friend with an impreza rs and he loves it, very few probs. unlike his wrangler, he hasn't had any real service issues with it. here in ak, they are like a staple to the economy. they're everywhere!!!

I think that the problem may be that many people drive them very hard and some of the parts (transmission) can't hold up. I think that they are great cars but I beleive that the maintenance would break me. Forums are the best way to find about a car. The dealer service sounds like a nightmere! Any thing would be reliable compared to a Wrangler.
