Currently the rankings are according to # of total posts (no post whoring! ):Rookie :::::::::: 0-10Jr. Member ::::: 10-99Member :::::::: 100-499Senior Member : 500-999Gen Vibe God ::: 1000+Some members status may be different than above because they were here before some changes were made and didn't make it to any of the above numbers as of yet (when they would change)... that's why some have different status' than others with the same # of posts.... hmm, and actually after some research they are a little mixed up from what I say above.. I'll look into this further. I'll post with an update. Thanks!

‘03 Vibe with 317k and still going.............................
Mine still says "New Member", must have changed the titles since I joined. I don't like my title, I am not new here. I've been here for over a year, just haven't posted a whole lot. I like how the titles have changed to say "Jr. Member" and not "New". I guess I have about 25 posts to go until I become a "Member", woohoo.
Justin 2003 Vibe GT - Mille Miglia Evo5 18x8 Wheels (now stock)- Magnaflow Cat-Back Exhaust (now stock)- Tein S-Tech Springs (now stock)- Injen CAI - Red Painted Calipers - Hella Supertone Horns - Polk Speakers - Bazooka RS8A-HP Sub - Kenwood Headunit - Still love my Vibe, but I've just turned it back into a basic daily driver.
It seems to me that this recent dialog is just an attempt by both of you to pump up your post counts I was thinking it would might be a good idea to add a status of AWOL Member for members who haven't posted in a long time, as an incentive to get the founding vibers to remain engaged in the site, but if they've stopped posting, then nobody would see their status, so it wouldn't work.Hope your stay in the hosp isn't serious and that it goes well!11/1/2003 - update - today I made post 1130, and Sputnik has 1129. THis pushes me into position 11 as on the forum all groups posting list. #10 is rasermon, he's about 80 posts ahead of me, but he hasn't posted much lately, so if I pass him, I'll make the top ten list. As long as I can keep drunkenvibe off my tail.
That sucks. Must be something you need to have done, and hope it will be better after having it done, but still ... I probably spend about twenty hours a week driving. I don't know if I could go 3 months without. If my boss would lighten up on telecommuting I'd be able to find out how strong my driving addiction has become. You should be able to drive alone in time to get out and buy the GF a nice Christmas present for hauling you around everywhere.Sorry to have gone off topic
Just bumping this post up.Noticed I became a Senior Member, and was wondering what it all meant.

Wouldn't that be Ms. Senior?Anywway, the zeroforum software has the capability to rate users, something like everyone starts out at 100%, but if you (removed) off the moderators or otherwise break the rules, they can subtract points off your grade and you end up less than 100%. However, the genvibe powers don't implement that user rating stuff, so everyone is 100%.or so I have heard

And I do prefer Ms. Miss just gets under my skin, I don't know why.Anyway, I thnk that % rating system is disabled. While the ability is there, GenVibe doesn't use it (don't you think a lot of users would have lost % points in during the Nova-revolt?). So we're all 100% good people, even Drunkenvibe (j/k, Drunken, you know we U)

The percentage points are kind of like a warning/probationary system. As you have already pointed out, administrators and moderators can warn users and subtract points for bad behavior on the site. I don't know if this feature is activated or not, as I have yet to have to use it or to see it used. We also have the ability to ban users in the case of extreme circumstances, though I personally would not excercise this without first consulting an admin because this is a very serious action. Fortunately, to date, there has only been one user banned from the site that I am aware of. (They were a scam artist practicing their trade and they were banned to protect the members here.) We try to be pretty laid back about things here at GenVibe, so the most common form of "disciplinary action" that you will see in the forums is a moderator or administrator locking a thread when things get way out of hand. Sometimes if someone gets way out of line, they may be sent an IM by an admin telling them to cool it or they will be banned from the site. Moderators and admins may also edit/delete a post or thread if it is offensive or they may "trim" it to keep relavent info only in it, so please notify the moderator of the forum or an admin immediately if you see inappropriate activity/material on the site. We do take this seriously, as we are dedicated to making this site enjoyable for the readers and members. Fortunately, the vast majority of people here behave themselves most of the time and we don't experience many serious problems with members.

yes, and the admins are the only ones that can change that line in your title. Nick has been busy with more important things lately and just hasn't gotten around to it. I've been a moderator on here for about a year now and when I hit 1000 posts, my mod title got replaced by "Gen Vibe God". If you want to know if a member has mod/admin status, you can click on their screenname to bring up their profile and their member/mod/admin status is listed there. It is not affected by post count milestones. I guess that I'm just moderating my forum incognito for now.
