Hey everyone I am meatheads wife and he asked me to come here and post to keep all of his vibe fiends informed. Well he left two days ago and he called me last night from Ireland, he is supposed to call me from kuwait any time now. I miss him terribly and I would like to ask all of you to keep him in your prayer's, well not only his but every other man and women over sea's right now away from their loved ones.
well, meathead's wife, i asked my small group to keep him in our prayers last tuesday eve. as many of us growing up or having military members in our family, we know how difficult it is for loved ones to be gone or in places that are unsafe. for this, i thank you for your sacrifice and commitment as he serves his country. be proud that he is fighting for others less fortunate. I am very proud to be an american, and proud to call meat and all those serving overseas my friend and hero. they go where i cannot or am not willing. i hate to say it, but military service is not for me. but, if called, i would do my duty and serve and not run away. i hope you find this place to be a solace and meet many friends here that appreciate your sacrifices you've made. hopefully the time will pass quickly away and you will be back together soon. don't be afraid to ask questions or post things on here, because we'd love to hear how meat, and you, are doing. my prayers go out to you!
You will be fine. You have many people thinking good things about your husband and you. Being a military wife is a difficult thing to do. My Father was a 30 Army officer and my Mom had too raise us when his country sent him away to Korea, Iran, and Vietnam. Be strong and proud of your husband. My son is going to be 18 Feb. 6 and the recruters are already calling my house. It terrifies me! The thought of my only child going to harms way. I am very patriotic, but I worry about if they start the draft again. Sorry to ramble. I will be thinking of Meathead and you.
Greeting Mrs Meathead,Welcome I active Duty Army as well and anticipating having to go to Iraq soon. Its a rough deployemtn not only for the service member that leaves but for the loved ones they are leaving behind. Stay strong and always give your love to your hubby and of course we will keep him and the rest of the troopers in our prayers. Please stay here for a while and any needs you may have please don't hesitate to ask. If he happens to send pictures to you PLEASE share them with us OK..

Thank you all for your friendship, he made me promise him that I would come here and post for him, he loves this web site and I am sure that he is upset that he can't post on here anymore, I will be sure to post pics that he sends me. He should be in kuwait right about now and whenever I hear from him I will post. As he puts it our love will get us through this, he feels that it is his duty for his country, and I could have it a lot worse, I could be in another state or even country and be without him so I have a lot of friends and family to help me out

I hope he is doing okay in Kuwait. Ive been there myself on many different occassions and did feel to unsafe. If that is his final stop he is lucky, if not I will think about him even more often. A lot of my friends fly into that part of the country all the time. I cant be there beacuse I train the enlisted aircrew members, so something of me is always there, at least in my heart and thoughts.
