We're always here to help.Getting the paint recalled would just about require an act of God, so don't hold your breath. But who knows, I read on here that at some point within the past few years a relatively small group of GMC/Chevy trucks were found to have been painted with a bad batch of primer which prevented the paint from adhering properly to it. The problem was identified by GM and that group of trucks was recalled. So who knows, but it is highly unlikely. As for the colored waxes, one of my cousins tried a few of them and told me not to bother with them. I've heard similar things from others as well. I'd stick to using polishing compound on the light scratches/marks and waxing with a reputible wax of your choice.
