Mercedes was the name of a love interest in "The Count of Monte Christo" by Alexandre Dumas. Mercedes was not necessarily who you'd want as your daughter's namesake.

Sister of a friend of mine was named Mercedes. She was a cute little Red-Head. I say cute because she was like 5 last I saw her....just a sweet little kid.
My daughter's name is Bailey Marie Warren. No car names but how about those BMW initials? She's 4 now, I think I'll need to start saving real soon - I'm sure I know kind af car she will be demanding for her 16th birthday.BTW - How do ya'll pronounce Mercedes? MerCEEdees or MerSAYdes?
