I have a question about the carbon fiber hoods. Besides looking cool, how does it help out the car's performance? Is it just helping with the weight of the car or is there something else?
Sorry, but I just cant see how putting on a hood, that doesnt match the rest of the car, is cool. Sure...carbon fiber is a neat material for its strength to weight properties, but you might as well stock up on yer racing stickers, fart cans, fake spoilers, and Momo seats so you can be BLING-BLING like all yer homies.Mabey if you painted the roof and trunk/hatch the same color, it wouldn't look so dumb with the CF hood.
Employ your time in improving yourself by other men's writings, so that you shall gain easily what others have labored hard for.
It's just less weight. The lighter your vehicle the faster it will accelerate. Just doing the hood wont help much. You would also need to be thinking about the rest of the vehicle as well. The hoods are pretty pricey also.
