Today was the first day this winter that my temp gauge bottomed out at -30°C (-22°F). It's -47°C (-52.6°F) with the wind chill. Please remind me why I live here!

It's 5*C right now here...and to us, this is cold this season. We were spoiled with like 16*C temperatures the past week or so.But it's all good. I'll take my 5*C over your -30*C any day!

im not sure what it is in celsius, but over the holiday weekend, i enjoyed temps of 65F and even higher! i was driving around in late december with the windows down and the moonroof all the way open. now it sucks because it's in the low 20s and windy as hell.

Agreed. We're the ONLY country in the world that doesn't use metric. And at least you were taught it in school, we were barely even tought anything metrical (if that's a word).I'm trying to learn metric on my own. Converting my posts to celsius and kilometers I do not only for the benefit of our Canadian friends, but also to help me learn the correllation between our systems. I do know that right now it's 18*F out, so that's below 0 in celsius. Plus, my handy dandy weatherbug let's me swap between celcius and farenheit in a snap.Question though: I've heard people refer to temps as celcius and centigrade. Which is the proper terminology?
