What is legal / not legal in NJ

Does anybody know a website that might give me the NJ motor vehicle regulations about what is legal / not legal. I have put on a windshield banner that I'm not sure would pass inspection, but I don't need to worry about that until 2007. I have not had any problems from cops. But, there are a couple of other things I would like to do (3rd brake light) that I'm not sure is legal.

I'm not sure about the windshield banner. Shouldn't be a problem. Everyone has them. I know you can tint your windshield 20% down from the top in order to avoid sun glare.As to the brake light, again, I don't think it will be a problem, I see many trucks, especially the dodge ones, with those aftermarket "ram head" covers on their tails. Have you tried calling the DMV? If you find out more definitive info, let us know, I'm curious to hear...
