I wanna thank Lancer for his awesome post on the Injen install, as well as all the other tips found on this forum. I have zero mechanical skills, but using the info found here, was able to install mine in an hour and a half (it would've been shorter, but I triple-checked everything!). Things that helped:1. Don't take the bumper off. The two screws and one plastic rivet underneath and forward of the front wheel well is all you need to take off to reach in and install the filter.2. Concur with the post about putting the vibra-mount in after the CAI is in place...definitely allows more room to maneuver.3. Don't mount the tube to the throttle neck and then try to wrestle with it to install the filter. Slip the filter on as you push the tube through the wheel well hole, then insert the tube into the throttle neck afterwards. I had zero problem with the install and fog light clearance doing it this way! I also concur with the posts about power. I'm passing cars on hills now, whereas before, I had the pedal to the medal as my speed bled off in the slow lane. Great investment!!!
Hind site is always 20-20! I followed the instuctions and had a hell of a time getting the filter on past the fog light. When I remove it for cleaning I will do it like you did.
