TRD Exhaust install

Post by mu_ohio »

I was thinking of getting a new exhaust now that the tip is rusting and I want something better. TRD is one of price choices (any other suggestions are welcome), but how hard is it to install?

I'd personally get a GMD exhaust before I'd get a TRD. The price is half as much, the sound is incredible, performance is the same if not better than TRD and it looks great also.http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=837

Do they have any dyno charts to go with this? I don't mind trying something else, but I know that the TRD version doesn't hinder performance.

TRD is like AC Delco...the parts are reliable and work well, but you can get better bang for the buck elsewhere. But if yer like me, you want to know what is the best...so I get what you mean.

What does everyone thing about the new Borla exhaust? It runs $320 at Ptuning and it appears that a lot of places are selling them now. Just keeping all options open.

I really dont know what to tell you I am between TRD and Borla. I want my Vibe to have a nice deep tone to it, not the annoying honda tone that is heard in about every corner of Miami. Does anyone have either installed?

A friend of mine has a '96 neon with a borla axle back. I doesn't sound like you're typical fart can. It's actually got deep sound to it. The borla is so much cheaper than the trd I'll probobly go with the borla.
