Foiling laser detection??

A guy told me today that to avoid getting a SPEEDING ticket from a laser speed detector, just glue 2 cd's together (bottom's out) and hang the CD's from your mirror. This guy swears by it, says he drives right by the cops doing 85MPH in a 50 MPH zone and has yet to be caught. Anyone ever heard of this technique before or is he pulling my leg??

Never heard of it.You know, even without using a laser speed detector I think the police would know the difference between 85mph and 50mph.

i wouldnt really try to fool the laser speed detectors. there is really no point, they have a 1000 yard range, which to my knowledge is farther than any radar/laser detector can reach. if your going to speed, know the area and where the cops are, if you are unfamiliar and on the high way stay with traffic or go no more than 8 over. its not that hard not to get tickets.yogi

I have tons of RW coasters at home...with some glue and some time...I'll make the worlds first laser invisible car.Too bad it doesnt work, and can get you pulled over with em on yer mirror...I've heard.
