Nice!! Is that a 68 or 67 Z28? I can't see by the pictures if it has the vent window in the doors.. What's under the hood of the Malibu? I've got an eye out for a decent, straight, 2 dr. Would make an excellent foundation for a hotrod.

that's a 68 z28. he labeled the pic.now, that is one very nice garage. look at all that space? wow! we only have a one car garage and a 2 car carport. we have it somewhat enclosed, but can't make it permanent due to permit restrictions.... sure wish we had a nice 2 car garage to work on my vibe inside from the cold!

Hey very nice cars bro. I sort of have a similar garage, however it's one car shy of 3 and has a 97 GMC Yukon that only hits the road for camping trips and a 67' Mustang Convertible that is still in the works. I'll throw a pic up a bit later perhaps. Too lazy to do it now. Nice cars. Nothing beats great American Muscle!

Poor old Rip Van Winkle below, which I bought new in 1970, has been slumbering for 24 years and 2 days(!) in my garage...

Here's a fuzzy shot of the engine. (GM, as opposed to aftermarket, ex-Can Am (Chapparal) 495 c.i. Aluminum heads and block, about 700 HP when I took it apart, 850-900 if I ever get it back together...)

MadBill, The mere fact that you are in the garage taking pictures of the Z28 is a good sign and a step in the right direction. Next time move on to the next step, bring wrenches and tools instead of a camera. There is hope!

After a decade or two, the sense of urgency is lost. But, hey, if I felt I needed nagging, I wouldn't come to GenVibe; I'd just listen to my wife! (it's a matter of experience, you know...)

Think it's worth anything once you get it fixed up?
YES!I still visit GenVibe periodically. I have not forgotten about my "original" family over here!

Well, I expect it's worth more than I paid for it new ($3,485.00), but probably a lot less than if I'd left it all-original with the stock 360 HP 350. However, by the time it was a year old I had already added headers, 3" exhausts, ported heads, big cam, a cross-ram 2-4 bbl set up, Konis, Minilite wheels, reworked suspesion geometry, etc., so numbers-matching originality hasn't been a real option for over 30 years. I prefer 'unique' to 'blindingly original', I guess....

I recently did work in my garage to get it more organized and visually appealing. Drywall, Paint, Shelves, Lights.....it all made for a much nicer place. I find myself trying to find reasons to be in there now. Having white walls up makes it so nice and bright in there....great for working on the car etc... Heres a pic...
