AWD Vibe in Montreal snow...

Post by VibeINC »

Anyone here own an AWD Vibe, how'd it handle our last real snowfall , how do they handle in the snow in general?? I love Vibes and can't wait to get one in the near future...Now, red or black, red or black??

Hey I saw your Vibe at Cardomain.com, I was browsing there and noticed your car before I even found this site, nice ride!! That's a nice blue, eeerrr, Neptune, don't know all the real color names yet. Thanks for the welcome...About the color I like Vibes in every color I've seen so far, red, black, silver, blue, white, I think that's all I've seen, red or black is tops on my list, and I like the side moulding unpainted, makes it look more rugged. This really is the perfect car for me, higher seating position, convenience of a minivan/SUV, but drives like a car and it looks good!Did you see the Lapresse review of a couple test drving the Vibe?? They picked a couple who wanted a minivan but were testing a Vibe for 2 weeks (1 week per spouse) they both came away liking it after not even knowing Vibes existed and now they're considering it.

Thanks for checking out my car! You will be very happy with the Vibe, it is the best car I have ever purchased....great for long trips, very confortable, nice handling.Where in Montreal are you from? I live in Lasalle...nice to see another local on this site I will try to organize a meet in the summer time, I hope you can join us.As for the LePresse article yes I read it and was happy to see that the couple was actually deciding on the Vibe, it is IMO much better than a big old mini-van!

Some people are living here for decate and every winter they drive like is was the 1st time in the snow!!!I cannot understand why people here can trust crappy 4 season tire for winter. For me, 4 seasons tire are in fact summer tire. Winter tire here are a must.A co-worker here used to live in Swizerland and over there they do not have 4 season tire. They are illegal. You get a itcket if you do not have proper tire for the proper season.I'd like to have a law like this here too.
