0 to 60 Times...

I bought the Base Vibe with auto tranny. I see some here say 0-60 MPH times are just over 8 sec. Consumer reports testing shows this time on the same car at a lethargic 11.8 seconds! Hoping my new ride ain't this SLOW..... Anyone know of a "reliable" source of perfomance specs for this car? (A little late ...)Thanks, Mike
