Paint for customizing interior trim parts

Post by Stang2Vibe »

I was searching around on the 'net and I found this company that makes touch-up paint. You could order the paint to match the exterior of your car and paint your interior trim to match the body color. Actually, you could really order whatever automotive color you want. They sell the paint in the touch up tubes, the kind with the little brush (sort of like the way nail polish comes I think), in a spray can, and up to by the gallon. It is actual automotive quality paint and is custom mixed to be a match to the factory paint. All the Vibe and Matrix paints seem to be listed, although they don't go by the names that GM and Toyota used to market the Vibe/Matrix. They tell you to verify the paint code from the label on your car to be sure it is the right one. It is probably a bit more costly than plastikote and duplicolor paint, but it is actual automotive paint. I think they advertised a spray can of paint for $29.95 USD. Prices vary depending on the amount of paint you order (i.e.--a touch-up tube is cheaper and a gallon is obviously much more expensive). I haven't ordered from them or personally heard anything about them, but I just wanted to let everyone know that this is out there. Here's the site: http://www.paintscratch.com They have paints for many years/makes/models of cars, so if you're even looking for paints for another car besides the Vibe/Matrix, they can probably make that as well. The site seems pretty easy to use, too. They also guarantee that the paint will match the original factory color. They claim that they will replace the paint in the event that it is found not to match.
