Well just to inform all....the ground is a thick layer of glassy ice right now and i decided that with these unhospitable conditions outside i should see how the vibe performs with the sticky summer-only Kumho tires i have on it. they are at about 40% tread after a season of autocrossing. The Vibe was suprisingly.......very suprisingly predictable. really respectable traction....2nd gear starts made easy work of roads that were as bad as it gets. i have a set of tire chains in the trunk....just in case but i would have to be faced with some serious grades in order to need them! on another note....mustangs are probably the funniest cars to watch in the snow and ice! so even w/ the summer tires the Vibe gets my

Orange county NY, 20 PLUS inches baby! I had drive 25 miles to work Saturday night too. Vibe handled great! Granted the AWD helped! Never got close to getting stuck but tires spun often. It was a horrible storm here.
