Fortunatly though, there was no bent fender I was pulling out of a gas station to turn left into the middle lane so that I could merge with traffic when a car (coming from the right) decided to turn left into the gas station. I just pushed in the clutch and tapped the brake to stop myself and the car behind me bumped me. (I had the clutched pushed in, so all he did was just push me a little) The guy was pretty mad at himself and I scared him pretty good, and then stuck my hand out and said "No damage, just be more careful next time". Attached is a picture of my "damage". This is the right bump on the back of the bumper.Well the picture will be attached when it works again. There really is no damage except for a chip in the paint on the bumper. I'm very pleased with the car.
I'm glad you didn't take any significant damage. I bet the blood pressure and adrenaline went way up before you got a chance to look for damage though.
I thought that I would add the picture.(joatman, I shrunk it down as much as I could so that you could still tell where it was and made it so that it was 640x480. I hope that isn't too big)
Consider yourself lucky. It will never rust because the chip came off of a plastic body panel. A little touch-up paint, and you should hardly be able to tell it was there. I did less damage than that to a woman's car because she was driving like a moron and she actually tried to make a claim on it. I was fortunate enough to get a police report that the officer noted that there was no damage (you can read my whole story about the incident in my post in the other thread on "number of accidents/collisions"). Her claim was denied and I was saved from auto insurance hell.
